Why Influencers should care about the drama at OpenAI
OpenAI owns ChatGPT, which many creators leverage to help with their content. In the whole debacle where the board fired Sam Altman, then was brought back, and then some key people were removed from the board.
The people who were removed were focused on making sure ChatGPT is used to benefit humanity, and there had been increasing tension between them and other board members as ChatGPT looked to grow and monetize.
Without the morality-focused board members, ChatGPT may take an interesting turn. Creators need to keep this in mind when using it and double check AI-generated content before posting.
